In December 1999 Steel Beauty was created by owners Gemma & Sean. Sean was a graphic designer by trade but due to a bad motorbike accident he was unable to continue his trade. He has always had the artistic talent and had to find a way to express this in another method. He decided to do this by creating art in another form by tattooing and piercing and has never looked back. Gemma had just qualified as a beauty therapist in Oct 99 and they both conbined there skills in one shop that has become a success and is a well known studio! The shop is run by two wizards in modern day body piercing and tattooing. Sean is the tattoo master and body piercer, having been a draughtsman previously he has the ability to create some breathtaking tattoos that can be done especially for individuals who like this form of art engraved on thir bodies. Gemma handles the beauty side of the shop. She deals with nails and beauty. Gemma told the Courier: "We keep to very high standards and have very good feed back from our customers." In fact the, shop is doing so well, they run by appoitnments due to the demand for there work.
