The way your piercing heals depends on a lot of different things: skin cells present is your immune systems, how healthy you are and the Aftercare the piercing receives. First of all DO NOT touch your new piercing with your hands. Hands are always covered in bacteria. Hands should be washed with an antibacterial soap as antibac or proven before cleaning the piercing, saline is not antibacterial it can be used in conjunction with antibacterial solution. All piercings weep until they heel.
This lymph & other bodily fluids, this stage is not to be confused with an infection. The lymph will form a dry crust formation, be sure to soak this before commencing your cleaning procedure. Infections re rare, however if you think you have a problem feel free to contact us. DO NOT USE savlon, tea tree, hydrenproxidem, surgical spirit or tcp as it is too strong.
Ears - septum's - nostrils - Eyebrows
(Benzalkonium Chloride)
Clean the piercing & jewellery two to three times a day with salt water only. This should be applied with cotton wool bud and dried afterwards. Although these piercings are hard to soak in the bath or shower they are still easier to clean afterwards. DO NOT CHANGE JEWELLERY FOR 8 - 10 WEEKS!
Madonna - Frenums - Labrets
(50% antibacterial mouthwash 50% water)
There is always an amount of swelling after these piercings. Ice will help contain the swelling. Rinse with oral dine after every meal, drink & cigarette.
Your Tongue also contains a natural healing agent called peptide. Which will accelerate the time of the healing. DO NOT CHANGE JEWELLERY FOR 10 - 14 DAYS!
Nipples - Navels - Neck Piercing
(Antibac or Proven)
Clean at least4 to 5 times a day. First soak off any crust formation when in the bath or shower.Then clean with salt water - leave on for a minute or 2 then leave it. For navel piercings be sure not to wear tight clothing on the area as it can prolong the healing by aggravating the process. Mild salt water baths can aid the healing in the piercing. If you feel you require vitamins or minerals supplements, we suggest Zinc or Vitamin C to be taken for the first two mouths after being but follow the recommended daily dose. Also DO NOT CHANGE FOR 8 - 12 WEEKS!
Tattoo Aftercare
To look after your Tattoo is very important. If you look after it properly it will last a life time. After leaving our studio wait for 2 hours before cleaning your new tattoo. Clean it with mild warm salt water solution and pat it with kitchen Roll.
DON'T USE ANY CLOTH'S AS THEY HOLD BACTERIA!!!
After you have washed your tattoo, dry it with a piece of kitchen roll and the apply Tattoo Goo or savlon. Apply the Goo or salvon 3 - 4 times a day, making sure you wash your tattoo every morning and evening with salt water. Do this for at least 7 - 10 days until the scabs fall off. After this has happened please apply either E45 or coco butter on it so that the new skin is formed. Every care has been taken to ensure your tattoo has been done to the highest hygienic standards!
Remember cheap tattoo's aren't good and good tattoo's aren't cheap!!!
